Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation (RGCEDC), South Texas College (STC), Rio Grande City Public Library, and the Starr County Industrial Foundation, held the Starr County Summer Job Fair on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at the Rio Grande City STC campus. The event had a phenomenal turnout, with over 100 job seekers in attendance for the 20 employers such as IDEA Public Schools, Walmart, T-Mobile, Stripes and more providing over 200 job openings.
“Workforce Solutions is committed to providing equal opportunities to our service areas. We look forward to collaborating with our community partners in the area to continue the success we saw at the Starr County Summer Job Fair,” said Workforce Solutions Communications Specialist, Mike Gonzalez.
