Rio Grande City launches certification program to promote COVID-19 safety measures

Rio Grande City officials have launched a campaign called Rio Grande City Top Rated COVID-19  Best Business Practices to ensure that customers are informed and continue to practice social distancing measures. Local officials recognize that community cooperation is an essential step towards minimizing the spread and continual economic impact of this infectious disease.

Rio Grande City Top Rated COVID-19 Best Business Practices is a certification program for Rio Grande City businesses. Participation is a visible way to show members of the community that your business will go beyond the minimum state standards to provide additional confidence and safety for your customers and employees.

To participate in this certification program, you will be asked to complete an application ensuring your intentions to follow the additional guidelines  listed for your specific business type. Once the application is submitted, City Staff will deliver a Rio Grande City Top Rated COVID-19 Best Business Practices window decal to your business that you may display in your storefront.
